A Zoning Permit is required for Construction, Enlargement, or Renovation of Structures, including but not limited to:


  • Garages
  • Accessory Structures: Decks, Sheds, Patios and Porches
  • Roofing, Siding, Windows
  • Ponds, Pools, Fences
  • Driveways, Sidewalks (Excavation/Installation/Repairs)


Please refer to the Zoning Code for all structures requiring a permit.

CLOUDPERMIT


We are excited at the Village of Walbridge to move our PERMIT PROCESS online!  This will allow you to complete ZONING APPLICATIONS 24-7. The CLOUDPERMIT portal does require registration, but it allows you to have real-time access to your property and tracking of your permits throughout the process.


Here is a handy USER GUIDE:


Step 1: Register your account. You will need to provide NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE, and EMAIL.


Step 2: Create a NEW Application


Step 3: Select Category, Scope and Proposed Use for your Application. I.e. ZONING PERMIT


Step 4: Create a New Project


Step 5: Select a Location for your Application


Step 6: Complete the Zoning Permit Application - General section  with Missing Mandatory Fields


Step 7: Upload Attachments (if applicable)


Step 8: SUBMIT APPLICATION

A link is sent via the email address provided in CloudPermit to the applicant to submit payment when applicable.
