The safety of our youth is a top priority for the Walbridge Police Department — and it starts with education.

As electric bicycles (e-bikes) become increasingly popular across Ohio, it's important that both parents and young riders understand the laws and safety requirements before hitting the road.

Under Ohio Revised Code Section 4511.522, specific guidelines outline how e-bike riders can stay in compliance with federal regulations. To help families navigate these rules, we’ve developed a convenient e-bike safety flyer with essential information for both parents and children.
