Code Enforcement Complaints

THE VILLAGE OF WALBRIDGE ZONING CODE HAS BEEN ADOPTED TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, MORALS, COMFORT, CONVENIENCE, PROSPERITY, AND WELFARE WITHIN THE VILLAGE.

The Zoning Department handles the following complaints:

• RV, Camper, Boat Storage
• Debris & Trash on Properties
• Pools (placement/maintenance), Fencing, Etc.
• Tall Grass and Noxious Weeds (see Noxious Weed List HERE)
• Vacant Properties (Residential & Commercial)
• Property Maintenance (Residential & Commercial)

The Zoning team is  complaint based.

Complaints can be submitted via the online CODE ENFORCEMENT COMPLAINT button, phone call (419) 666-1830, or via email. 

Once a complaint has been submitted, the team will follow up with an inspection.

If a violation per the Village of Walbridge Codified Ordinances exists, a letter will be issued to the property owner with a deadline.

If, upon inspection, no issue is present, the case will be CLOSED. 

Cases with violations are re-inspected on the provided deadlines.

If the violation has been corrected, the case is closed.

If not, further action will be taken.
